Privacy Policy

Effective July 18, 2026

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the websites and online services operated by City Farmers, Inc. (“City Farmers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It does not apply to a third-party website or service linked from our site, which is governed by its own privacy terms.

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Communications. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message.
  • Restricted-area access. If you enter an access code for investor materials or an administrative area, the code is processed to authenticate the request. The site stores an access token in an essential browser cookie; it does not place the code itself in that cookie.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring page, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site.

Information stored on your device

Some interactive areas save preferences such as display theme, operator view, or equipment-viewer position in local browser storage. These preferences stay on your device unless you clear them. See our Privacy Choices page for details and a one-click clearing control.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the site;
  • Authenticate approved users and protect restricted materials;
  • Respond to questions, requests, and potential business inquiries;
  • Understand site performance and prevent misuse; and
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights and safety.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors that host, secure, maintain, or support the site may process information for us under their applicable terms and instructions.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, investigate misuse, or protect the rights, property, and safety of City Farmers or others.
  • Corporate transactions. Information may be transferred as part of a financing, reorganization, merger, sale, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
  • At your direction. We may disclose information when you ask us to or provide consent.
City Farmers does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies on this site.

Cookies and similar technology

Restricted areas use essential access cookies named cf_adminand cf_investor. They are used only after a successful login, are not available to browser scripts, and expire after 30 days unless cleared sooner. Local browser storage is used for the device preferences described above. We do not currently place optional advertising or analytics cookies.

Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including security, legal, and operational needs. Access cookies expire after 30 days. Device preferences remain in your browser until you clear them. Business communications may be retained while they remain relevant and as required for legitimate recordkeeping.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to receive information about how it is used and disclosed. You may also have a right to appeal a denied request. City Farmers will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To make a request, email ian@thecityfarmers.org. We may need to verify enough information to protect you and the information involved. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law; we may ask for proof of authority.

Because we do not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising, no additional opt-out step is necessary. We treat a supported Global Privacy Control signal consistently with that practice.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the site and the information involved. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive information that we have not requested.

Children

This site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our site or practices change. We will post the revised version here and update its effective date. Questions about this policy may be sent to ian@thecityfarmers.org.
